Based in the suburbs of Chicago, we are a husband and wife photography team specializing in fine art wedding photography.
It was only a month ago when Farrah contacted us about her wedding day, which wasn’t exactly the wedding she and Kais had originally planned. They had planned for a large family wedding celebration in their home country of Syria. As the pandemic began to restrict travel and large gatherings, the realization sank in that a change of plans was inevitable.
Farrah & Kais were quick and decisive when it came to knowing that in the end they just wanted to be husband and wife. I was happy to jump in and help ease some of the unknowns with suggestions of places to get ready and beautiful locations for portraits. After a few short weeks, all the plans came together flawlessly.
Marc and I are slowly easing into our 2020 wedding season, first an hour backyard wedding a couple of weeks ago, and last week a 4 hour celebration with Farrah & Kais. It felt great for us to be out there capturing a happy bride and groom with their special love for each other.
When Farrah and I first spoke, she had mentioned how important these photos would be to her. Since their families wouldn’t be in attendance, they wanted the photos for them to share in the experience of the day. The happy couple looked radiant and we hope all the memories we captured will help their families feels as though they were part of their wedding day.
