Leading up to Michelle and James’ late August wedding, James mentioned that what he was looking forward to the most – it was the moment when the ceremony ends and the feeling of being married will be. If you’re married or are planning a wedding, I am sure you too felt the excitement for that very moment you are officially pronounced as married. It would bring tears to my eyes and butterflies in my stomach every time I thought about Marc and I talking about forever. James is right, it is an overwhelming rush of emotion.
Michelle and James are perfectly matched to be together. Throughout the evening we heard guest after guest saying how well-matched these two kind and humorous intellects are for each other. They were both enrolled at the University of Chicago pursuing their Ph.D.’s when they officially met in 2012 at a mutual friend’s party. It was from this moment that these two began to share and grow in life’s experiences together. 10 years is a long time to wait for that “just married” announcement, but looking at their glowing faces afterward – it was well worth every minute.
A special thanks to all the vendors who made Michelle & James’s day beautiful.
