Some love stories are so special they deserve to be celebrated twice, and that’s exactly what Robin and Pete did. One year after their intimate family wedding in July 2023, they gathered all their friends, children, and extended family for a joyous celebration on a hot, humid July 14th. I was honored to be able to capture both of their special wedding days.
Robin and Pete decided to forgo a traditional wedding party, instead choosing to focus on making everyone present feel included and celebrated. It was such a reflection of who they are: a couple who deeply value connection and togetherness.
Their ceremony was a perfect reflection of their personalities. Robin and Pete read vows they had written themselves, mixing sweet sentiments with a sprinkle of humor. Their words captured the beautiful blend of love and laughter that defines their relationship.
As the evening unfolded, we managed to sneak away for some golden-hour portraits just before an unexpected evening twist—the tornado sirens went off! Despite the weather drama, Robin and Pete’s celebration didn’t miss a beat. Their guests filled the dance floor and partied late into the night, making the most of every moment.
Here’s to Robin and Pete—proof that love, laughter, and a good dance floor can weather any storm. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey!
A special thanks to all the vendors who made Robin & Pete’s day beautiful.
