I am so extremely excited to announce that I am now officially a FULL-TIME photographer! Queue the champagne and confetti.

To say the last 3 years of my life have been busy is an understatement. My life was being shuffled daily.  I have been working a full-time Monday thru Friday job in IT.  I have raising 4 daughters and shuttling them back and forth between school, gymnastics and soccer practices. Whatever time was left of the day, after they were tucked into bed, was spent educating myself, replying to client emails, and editing photographs. One of my co-workers once called me supermom. I just laughed. Mom yes, super? Not so sure. Mostly just a tired mom living on a steady supply of caffeine.

However, the one thing I always had was a dream, a vision, and an idea that I could always do something more. Something I could do which would connect with couples, and inspire them. I come from a family of naturally born entrepreneurs. You can read more about that here… Create – Do – Learn . I have always had my plan, but one of the most important things I never expected is the never ending support. Support of my daughters, my fiancé (and amazing 2nd shooter), and my friends and family. They have always been my cheerleaders, pushing me along, and forcing me to believe in myself.

So yes… 2016 is my year, not only do I get to marry my best friend in May, but I will be able to wake up every morning, pushing forward a business I LOVE!
