What happens when a hipster TV/Movie editor nerd falls for the president of a music management company? Well, you have a pretty rad LA couple named Adina & Josh. These two were set up by a mutual friend and quickly the sparks began to fly. Both of them having a love and passion for the entertainment industry, it was a match made in heaven.
When Adina and Josh contacted us about their upcoming wedding, they TECHNICALLY weren’t even engaged yet. However, knowing the proposal was coming, they wanted to get a head start on securing vendors for their Chicago wedding. One of Adina’s clients is Lindsey Stirling, an electric violinist, dancer, and performance artist with more than 13 million YouTube subscribers. (If you don’t know who she is check out her videos on YouTube – mad talent that one!)
Josh, knowing how much love Adina has for her job, had the perfect proposal planned. Lindsey pulled Adina on stage at one of her recent tour stops at Red Rocks – supposedly she wanted to wish her manager a happy birthday, but that wasn’t all. Josh was waiting to walk out on stage, get down on one knee, and ask Adina to be with him forever – in front of thousands of fans. While I may have fainted, Adina held it together to say YES! But that wasn’t all Josh had up his sleeve – the legendary singer, Jewel, also had a message for the couple. Yup! The same Jewel whose very CD is still in my basement which I practically wore out playing back in the summer of my sophomore year of high school.
As you can imagine the proposal was perfection – you can check out here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2hIBd1KsrM
Congratulations once again to Adina and Josh – I had so much fun with you capturing your engagement photos in our beautiful city. It was so sweet to have your little Ella pup come along to steal the show for a few pictures as well. Here are some of my favorite moments.
