Amanda & Kevin

The weather was absolutely beautiful in the city last week when I met up with Amanda & Kevin for their engagement session.  The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and, after a long winter – Spring had finally arrived.  Since these two live in the city, Amanda suggested we get some great iconic city shots in during their session, f course that was the perfect idea and I had just the right location to capture what they had wanted. We traveled to Olive Park to start off their session.  It was everything Amana and Kevin had envisioned.   As we walked to nearby Ohio Street Beach where the city provided its iconic skyline as the perfect backdrop.  After snuggling on the beach, we strolled over to one of Chicago’s most popular attractions, Navy Pier, to capture a few more images with the majestic Centennial Ferris Wheel. It was an amazing or lucky feat to be down by the ferris wheel and have no other people in our shots. Kevin and Amanda are so amazing – between laughs and kisses their love was on display as we created some epic images.

Amanda and Kevin’s wedding is one of our fall weddings I am most looking forward to.  Marc and I have known Kevin’s mom Kim for many years now.   We met years ago while working for the same software tech company.   Since then we have stayed in touch and it was such an honor when Amanda reached out to me after their engagement.   I have seen Kevin grow up from a high schooler and the way his mother spoke about Amanda when they starting dating, I knew it was something special that was going to last ages.
