Based in the suburbs of Chicago, we are a husband and wife photography team specializing in fine art wedding photography.
These two may be one of our most photographed couples to date. Our friendship with Caitlin and Alex began in May of 2019 when the couple reached out about their 2020 wedding. As we are all well aware, 2020 was not a kind year for couples getting married. Instead of choosing to postpone their whole wedding, Caitlin and Alex chose to be married in a church ceremony followed by a small outdoor picnic reception. Although there were only a handful of guests in attendance at their micro-wedding – it was only a matter of time before these two would have the reception they had always wanted with all of their friends and family in attendance.
Fourteen months after their micro wedding celebration and nineteen months after the originally planned wedding date, we were finally able to capture their bridal party, their cake cutting, and their first dance as husband and wife (even if not technically the complete truth). We are happy to have their smiling faces grace our blog again – fortunately, it won’t be the last time, as we have the honor of capturing Caitlin’s sister’s wedding later this year. By now we feel like family and can’t wait to see you all again soon.
Enjoy a few moments from the wedding celebration – “the booster wedding”.
A special thanks to all the vendors who made Caitlin & Alex’s day beautiful.
