Jessica and Chris first met while attending their 3rd year of medical school in Rockford. Jessica had grown up in the Chicago area while Chris was born and raised in California. As their wedding day approached and we began to discuss all the details, I asked what they were looking forward to the most on their big day. Jessica and Chris were looking most forward to bringing their families together for the first time to witness the start of their marriage.

During the wedding day – it was obvious how close these two were to their families – this was such a special day for these two and having Chris’s family in town from the west coast made the celebration that much brighter.

The day was beautiful – Marc and I were happy to be back at one of our favorite venues, the Lincolnshire Marriott, to capture Jessica & Chris’s wedding day. Leading up to the wedding ceremony, one request was brought to our attention. Jessica and Chris wanted to be sure and capture a few large family portraits since it’s not very often that a family this large can all be in one place. The patio was the perfect place to arrange the family photos and soon everyone was off to cocktail hour. These are some of the largest grouping requests we’ve had, but we were so happy to oblige. We know how much these photos will mean to the newlyweds and their families.

Jessica and Chris mutually told me how proud they were of the other for how hard working they are. I know these two are bound for many years of happiness and laughter together – even if they don’t always agree if Chicago or LA has the best Korean food.
