Krista & Jim

When Krista initially contacted me last year about photographing her wedding I must admit, I was a little nervous.   Krista is also a very talented wedding photographer so what a big humbling honor it was to be the ones to capture a fellow wedding photographers big day.   At our initial meeting we chatted not only the details of her wedding day and her love for her fiance Jim, but we also discussed the fantastic careers we have capturing the best days of couples lives.

When Krista and Jim’s wedding day rolled around everything as just as I had expected, Krista had everything perfectly detailed and planned.   Fisherman’s Inn is a gorgeous venue to host a wedding, the lake, the bright red building, the exposed wood detailing on the walls all perfectly complemented Krista and Jim’s wedding day vision. Everywhere we turned there was a thoughtful detail of beautiful gold and green accents.  Even down to the perfect little camera shaped wedding day clutch her mom had found for her.

Every wedding photographer knows the details can make a wedding day look beautiful, but the love between the bride and groom are really what matters when it comes down to it.   Krista and Jim’s love shined brighter than any detail that could have been chosen.  Jim couldn’t keep his eyes off his bride the whole night, and they were never farther than an arms length away from each other.  They smiled, they laughed, and they affectionality held each others hands.  That my friends is what makes the BEST of all wedding days.
