It’s not often that I get to hang out with the groomsmen on the morning of a wedding. This is typically Marc’s job as I usually spend wedding mornings with the bride and her bridesmaids capturing the bridal prep. However, every now and then an opportunity arises when I the chance to assist another photographer. Last summer I had just such an opportunity with fellow photographer Sandra Armenteros. Trevor and his groomsmen prepared for the wedding day at the Marriot Courtyard in Elgin. One by one, the groomsmen knocked on the door and entered the hotel room. As the room became more and more crowded as the eight gentlemen piled in, the mood became increasingly cheerful. Trevor and the groomsmen chuckled as they barely had enough room to put on jackets, straighten ties, and fasten suspenders without elbowing one of their compadres in the kisser. One thing really I enjoy, is when grooms incorporate something fun into their outfits on the wedding day. Trevor added a little bit of fun and spunk by wearing crazy, colorful, and definitely cheerful socks.
Here are some of the best of the guys!
A special thanks to all the vendors who made Annalise & Trevor’s day beautiful.
