If Nicolas Sparks ever needed inspiration for a new novel, Sharon and Jesse may just be where he needs to look. Although this love story was meant to be, Sharon and Jesse’s story didn’t start out as an epic romance. Their love story started out, as many great relationships do, as friends. Sharon is a Pennsylvania native, Jesse a good ole Iowa boy growing up on his family’s horse farm. How their paths crossed is nothing less that a one in a million shot. While living in Wisconsin, Sharon ended up at a rodeo where she met Jesse. After they chatted and hung out together for a while, she soon felt as though she’d met her best friend. Friends who hung out, friends who did things together, friends who made each other laugh and feel comfortable. As life twisted and turned for Sharon, she made the decision to move back to Pennsylvania. Her sister Becky came all the way from the East Coast to help pack up the U-Haul and move her back home. It wasn’t an easy decision for Sharon to make. Then with her growing indecisiveness about the move plus the crazy circumstance of the U-Haul truck getting stuck in the mud after twice loading and unloading it the morning of the move, it was easily fate that made Sharon reverse her decision to leave. Of course the one thing that made her want to stay; Jesse. Deciding to stay just one more night in Iowa, Sharon and Jesse both confessed they wanted to be more than friends. They both saw a real future with each other and Jesse didn’t want to lose her. The next morning Sharon confessed to her sister that she had changed her mind and was in love with her friend Jesse and was going to stay in Iowa. To which Becky replied… “You’re telling mom and dad.”
The wedding at the picturesque Le Fevre Inn was nothing less than spectacular. Sharon’s vision of a wine and gold hilltop outdoor wedding was perfectly executed. From the beautiful details of the day until the Jesse showing off his auctioneer skills in a MLP first ever garter auction at the end of the reception. The day ran the gamut of beautiful emotions, laughter, happy tears, a crazy wind storm, and in the end one beautiful story of a couple happily married.
