Nicole and Brett are getting married later this month and we were so excited to sneak in an engagement session before their big day. I always enjoy traveling to new places to capture engagement sessions and this session was no different. Nicole had suggested a location she was familiar with – the Byron Forest Preserve. Her suggestion was perfect – the location was full of beautiful prairie land and it was the perfect backdrop for Nicole & Brett’s late July session. We had a wonderful time walking around while getting to know each other and exploring the grounds. Straight from a fairytale, a little deer decided to cross the path and photobomb our session.
Conversation flowed easily throughout the late afternoon and the love these two share for each other is undeniable. They have so much joy and hope looking forward to all the new things heading their way this year – not only becoming husband and wife but also welcoming their first child after the new year.
Stay tuned because these two are declaring their love for each other in front of family and friends in just a few short weeks and we can’t wait to share their wedding day as well. In the meantime, here are a few of our favorites from their engagement session.
