While some people would get upset when a waitress drops their food on the floor, Shana and Joe were both secretly happy this happened on their first date. They decided to meet at the picturesque and tasty Daly Creek Winery for their first date. Everything was going well; they hit it off right away as they were enjoying each other’s company. When the waitress informed the table their pizza had been dropped on the floor, they were both quietly pleased that their date was going to be unexpectedly extended. After the pizza was remade, they decided to extend their date even further by going to see a live band playing in town. Shana told me, that on her way home that night, she couldn’t stop thinking about Joe.
That first date led to many more dates and eventually a proposal! Now these two are planning a June wedding and I had the pleasure to meet up with them for their engagement session. From the start of the session I could see how at ease they put each other and how much they loved spending time with one another. They even brought their Boxer Clyde, who absolutely took great pleasure in stealing the show for a few shots during their early morning Dubuque Riverwalk engagement session.
I am definitely looking forward to Shana and Joe’s wedding in June!
