Leading up to Julie and Kevin’s wedding, I chatted on the phone with Julie to finalize details regarding their big day. I could tell by her voice that she was full of excitement. The weather was shaping up to be perfect. The perfect temperature and a clear blue sky. All of the planning was falling perfectly in to place for Julie and Kevin’s romantic wedding day.
Julie had mentioned that she found this amazing loft where she could get ready – it had beautiful light and a gorgeous modern feel, proving that she has a great eye for photography and this loft would help produce amazing pictures. The big windows let in natural light and the space was a photographer’s dream for capturing bright getting ready pictures and stunning bridal portraits. The bridal prep the morning of the wedding was calm, cool, collected, and completely ideal. Everything was going perfectly to plan, and we were actually running ahead of schedule. Although Julie had planned every detail so well, and every piece of it ran very smoothly, there was just one thing she was excited for more than anything.
As we prepared for the ceremony to start, Julie’s heart was racing – this was the moment where she would realize so many of her hopes and dreams. The opening of the white chapel doors and seeing Kevin down the aisle. The moment unfolded with such a touching and overwhelming sense of love and compassion it made everyone in the chapel feel a collective “awe”. Julie and Kevin spent the remainder of the wedding day sharing in the biggest smiles, love, and laughter with their closest friends and family.
I think if you ask Marc, his favorite moment of the day happened when Kevin and his friend took the dance floor by surprise and broke into an amazing choreographed dance to the song Apache. We couldn’t stop laughing and continue to share that story which was so much fun to witness.
It was so hard to narrow down which images we loved best to share from Julie and Kevin’s day because there were so many beautiful moments. We hope you enjoy!
