Kathleen & Anthony

Chicago’s city skyline was radiant on the morning of Kathleen and Anthony’s wedding.  The sun was shining high overhead, which pleasantly warmed the coolness of the brisk November air.  When I arrived at Kathleen’s parent’s condo, a huge smile came across Kathleen’s face.  As a matter of fact, I don’t believe she stopped from beaming for a single minute on her wedding day.  Kathleen’s bridesmaids, which included her own sisters, looked on and teared up as she stepped into her AMAZING Vera Wang ball gown dress.

Across town, Marc met Anthony, his family, and the groomsmen at Kathleen and Anthony’s condo.  There was a buzz of excitement as everyone was celebrating the arrival of this special day.  As I looked though the bridal and groom prep images of that morning, it was simple to see how happy they both were that this day had finally arrived.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Anthony and Kathleen saw each other for the first time; neither of them could stop smiling in the moments beforehand.  Anthony stood outside of the church doors as Kathleen walked up behind him. The moment shared between the two of them was definitely one of a kind.  The feeling of overwhelming joy radiated from them both; the feeling that two people who are so right for one another were soon to form a union that will last the rest of their lives together.  St. Alphonsus Church is one of the most gorgeous landmark churches in Chicago and it was absolutely the perfect place for Kathleen and Anthony to exchange their wedding vows on that November day.  The day was beautiful and magical and we were so honored to be pulled in as family to document such an epic love story.
